My favorite cologne, the one that consistently garners me compliments, is Perceive, a relatively inexpensive one from -- of all companies -- Avon. While Avon still has representatives, they seem few and far between in my area. Luckily, Amazon readily offers this masculine, sexy fragrance. Chaps can certainly spend more on Versace, Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Armani Giorgio and more, but why? Perceive ticks all of the boxes for me at a far more affordable price. You will enjoy it, too.

While I do not wear Papi trunk underwear exclusively, I will point out that I like the brand very much. Comfortable and great-looking, the brand lives up to its great reputation. I am, of course, paraphrasing here, but the famous gospel songwriter Dottie Rambo (1934-2008) used to say "Nothing instills confidence like new underwear." Papi trunks fit the bill.

Packed with practical tips and showcasing a diverse range of men of various phenotypes, Basic Training: A Fundamental Guide to Fitness for Men (New York: St. Martin's Press, 1999) by Jon Giswold with photography by David Morgan will inform and inspire. Knowing full well that I will never look like the fit model on the front cover, I still find this resource useful whenever I need to motivate myself to stay the course or take things up a notch on my journey to a healthier me.

Passport-Vaccine Card Holder
Traveling overseas? A dependable passport holder is ideal to protect your passport book, and this one in particular has a place to insert your vaccination cards and other items. I like funky colours and opted for one that is apple green (arguably chartreuse!). Other colours are available, as well, to meet more conservative personalities.
A Spy Novel
Look out, Ian Fleming! There are other masters of espionage on the scene. The novelist, a former British intelligence officer, who publishes his work using the nom de plume James Wolff, lays out an impressive work in Spies and Other Gods: A Novel that is at times humorous and witty, as one might expect of a British writer, but also frighteningly convincing and realisticly plausible, given the state of the world in which we live.
