Greg Freeman | Blessing and Blessing
Released in 2018, this EP, my gospel music debut, includes five tracks, three of which were written with Grammy-nominated and GMA Dove Award-winning artist Babbie Mason. Kicking things off with an arrangement of Bill Gaither's classic "If It Keeps Gettin' Better" like you've never heard it before, the project includes "Oh, What a Change in My Life" (featuring Babbie Mason) and "I Know," an homage to the Oak Ridge Boys' gospel hit, featuring gospel music legend Calvin Newton (1929-2023). Cal was eighy-eight-years-old at the time of the recording, and this is the last record on which he appeared. Blessing and Blessing is a project of praise and thanksgiving.

Sunlight and Shadows, first released in 2015, includes two tracks: the title track and "Love Can Find You There," a song I co-wrote with veteran producer Cheryl Rogers. Garnering airplay on variety radio throughout Europe alongside Paul McCartney, Adele, Ed Sheeren, Sam Smith, Rod Stewart, Calvin Harris and more, "Sunlight and Shadows" still enjoys airplay from as far away as Australia more than ten years following its release. I have performed the song on Babbie's House, Babbie Mason's syndicated television show. Both tracks have been included on separate episodes of The WOAFM99 Radio Show, hosted by Oliver Sean and airing in India and Dubai.

The Collingsworth Family | Just Sing!
Nominated for a GMA Dove Award, Just Sing! was released by the Collingsworth Family in November 2021. Their Gaither Music debut, the album includes songs by Bill and Gloria Gaither, Dottie Rambo, John Mathis, Jeff Steele, Donna Douglas and other distinguished writers, and was produced by the incomparable Bradley Knight. "I Owe You Everything," a track that has become popular around the world, as evidenced by performances of the song on YouTube from as far away as the Philippines, was written by Babbie Mason and myself. The Collingsworth Family strives for musical excellence, but the group also performs with some heavy anointing from on high. Babbie and I are so honored that they chose to include one of our songs on this great album.

Lynda Randle, a popular Gaither Homecoming artist best-known for great songs such as "God on the Mountain" and "One Day," produced the 2018 project, So Good to Know, for a wonderful group of kids, The Chitans. I recall Lynda reaching out to me for some songs, and I gladly offered up several, including a couple of tunes that I had written with Babbie Mason. The group settled on what would become the title track. The Chitans performed "So Good to Know" at the National Quartet Convention to a very enthusiastic crowd and sang it on episodes of Babbie's House, Atlanta Live and Guy Penrod's national television show, Gospel Music Showcase, which was broadcast on the Daystar Network, based in Dallas. I am proud of this very talented young group and the success they have achieved.

11th Hour | What a Moment
One of the first songs I ever wrote with Babbie Mason was a story song called "Look at Me Now." Recalling the Biblical accounts of the woman at the well and the man by the healing pool who both experienced total transformation because of Christ, this song testifies of God's ability to miraculously change lives even today. I had gotten to know Grant Gibson when he sang with Debra Perry and Jaidyn's Call. His departure from that group to 11th Hour afforded me an opportunity to pitch this song that, ironically, Karen Peck and New River (for whom Grant would eventually wind up singing) had placed on hold a year or so earlier and ultimately passed on. Performed with a Ray Charles vibe, the song is catchy, and I'm sure it has not seen its best days yet. I was excited to see the song land on a project that includes a song by perhaps my greatest songwriting influence: Sandy Knight. What a Moment (2016) is a fabulous album, and I'm delighted to have a small part in it through "Look at Me Now."
